Defrost units feature state-of-the-art data logging, which monitors both the air temperature and the product temperature every two minutes. The information can be printed at the logger in either a graphical or data format. Alternatively, the information can be downloaded and graphed to provide accurate records throughout the defrost process.

Close process temperature control to within 0.1°C can be achieved. The unit has different digital thermostats - one for each of the phases of defrost to ensure the product is evenly defrosted whilst eliminating microbiological growth.
